When history evaluates the song catalogs that shaped contemporary Jewish music, few will be treated with more reverence than that of legendary composer, conductor, trendsetter and vocal coach Yerachmiel Begun of Miami Boys Choir. Over the course of 4 decades, he earned his reputation for defining the sound of modern neginah, and for creating a new standard in the potential of the young voice. Today, there is no one better to play homage to his great songbook than Shira Choir.

This past Motzei Simchas Torah in Yerushalayim was a fun one. I started off at the sold out WOW concert in Binyanei Hauma, featuring Moshe Dovid Weismandel, Sruli Green, Beri Weber, Yeedle Werdyger, and me. It was my first time performing for a crowd this size in Israel and it was a great feeling. After the show I headed straight to the wedding of the daughter of Menachem Toker, the biggest Orthodox TV host in Israel, for a completely different set sharing the stage with Isha
